Frank Galdón
General Manager
Frank is an award-winning landscape contractor with over 30 years of industry experience. He holds a degree in Economics from the University of Calgary and is a Certified Landscape Industry Manager (CNLA) and Landscape Technician (LANTA). As General Contractor at Planta, Frank oversees all aspects of construction and build operations, leading his team in delivering projects recognized with numerous industry awards.
María del Sol Galdón
Landscape Architect
María is an award-winning landscape architect with experience across a wide range of project types and scales. She is a registered Landscape Architect and holds a Master of Landscape Architecture from the University of British Columbia. María leads Planta’s administrative team and supports project management and construction administration.
Melanie
Office Administrator
Melanie holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Human Resources Management from the Humber College and a double Honours degree in Psychology and Criminology from the University of Windsor. She brings experience as a Human Resource Manager, along with extensive customer service expertise. Melanie is the first point of contact for new landscape projects, working closely with the team to support both new and returning clients, respond to inquiries, and provide guidance throughout each stage of a project.
Jorgelina
Finance Manager
Jorgelina holds a degree in Economics from the University of Buenos Aires and brings experience in evaluating, planning, executing, and overseeing financial programs and budgets. At Planta, she leads the company’s accounting and financial operations with careful attention to numbers, budgets, and all financial aspects of the business.
Andrea
Administration Assistant
Andrea assists in managing and coordinating all service-related work, including irrigation, spring and fall clean-ups, plant replacements, and general administration. She is frequently on-site, meeting with clients to understand and support their specific needs.

Jay
Project Manager
Jay holds a diploma in Aircraft Engineering and brings extensive experience in Civil Engineering, along with over 15 years in landscape operations. At Planta, he supports operations and project management, coordinating sub-trades for specialized construction, preparing project quotations, and managing scheduling and material procurement. Jay is often on-site, working closely with contractors, addressing field conditions, and ensuring each project is executed to a high standard.
Kyle
Project Manager
Kyle holds a Horticulture Landscape certificate from the Okanagan College and a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) with a major in Supply Chain Management from the Mount Royal University. He serves as an on-site Project Manager at Planta and brings over 12 years of experience in landscape construction and maintenance, with a strong focus on operations management.

Kurt
Project Manager
Kurt is an ISA Certified Arborist with the International Society of Arboriculture. He brings over 19 years of experience in nurseries, garden centres, and landscape construction, with extensive knowledge of local plant materials. As an on-site Project Manager at Planta, Kurt oversees field operations and provides expertise on all vegetation-related matters. He often says, “I am an arborist doing what I love—making the world a little more green and beautiful.”
Sergio
Lighting / Irrigation Manager
Sergio is a Red Seal Electrician. He leads all lighting and irrigation services, including installation of new systems, adjustments to existing systems, smart home integrations, and ongoing maintenance and repairs. Sergio also oversees all irrigation start-ups and seasonal blowouts.

Luis is an Agricultural Engineer trained in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The founder of Planta, his years of practice have helped to make Planta the successful organization it is today. Luis acts as Senior Consultant for Planta Landscape.

Hal supports Planta as an Estimator and IT Support Specialist. He prepares project cost estimates to ensure accurate budgeting and competitive pricing, while also managing the company’s IT systems and technical support to maintain efficient operations and workflow.
